Department: COM | Radiation Oncology Education

Summary of Job Duties: Limited to equipment quality assurance, treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy, high and low dose rate brachytherapy, prostate brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, image guided radiotherapy and special treatment procedures. The resident will follow a comprehensive practicum guideline that specifies the tasks that need to be completed for each rotation. As a member of the Medical Physics division, the resident is expected to participate in the departmental presentations and rounds as well as attend tumor boards and grand rounds at UAMS.

Qualifications: PhD degree in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP accredited graduate program.
