Job Description

The Senior Medical Physicist plays a vital leadership role within the radiotherapy team, focusing on ensuring patient, staff, and public safety while enhancing imaging and therapeutic radiation precision.

Responsibilities include providing expert guidance on complex clinical and operational issues, supporting the evaluation and implementation of new procedures and technologies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.

Key qualifications involve a Master's or doctoral degree in physics or related fields from an accredited program, active medical physics licensure in Texas, and certification from recognized boards such as the American Board of Radiology or the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine.

Candidates should have

• 5+ years of postgraduate experience

and experience with EBRT techniques, Varian technology, quality management, and process improvement.

Preferred qualifications include higher degrees from CAMPEP-accredited programs, residency completion, extensive experience in SRS/SRT, and familiarity with third-party QA systems and safety regulations.
