Mercy Oncology - Fort Smith

Mercy is actively developing and planning to build a state of the art oncology center on its campus to help the already exceptional team, provide comprehensive care to patients. This team consists of:

4 hematology oncologist, 1 radiation oncologist, 7 advanced practitioners, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care

3 Nurse Navigators specializing in Breast, Lung and General Oncology, dedicated Genetics APN and 2 Research Nurses

Dedicated Breast and Head/Neck Surgeon

1:5 Call Schedule and 4 1/2-day work week

Streamlined hospital coverage at the adjoining medical center

Onsite Infusion Center and Multidisciplinary tumor board

Academic affiliation allowing medical students and resident rotations, with stipends

System wide EPIC EMR

Diversity of cases due to the 13-county rural catchment area
