Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide on-site Radiation Oncology coverage with regular daylight in-house duties

• Regular hours on-site: Inpatient consultation weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

• See patients in office as needed

• Oversee scheduled radiation treatments with required on-site presence during all radiation treatment sessions

• Round and consult on inpatients as needed

• Document all patient contact hours including new consults, follow-up visits, treatment planning for new patients, and on-treatment weekly visits (OTV)

• Perform and/or oversee Brachytherapy procedures including intracavitary, interstitial, vascular/endovascular, LDR low dose rate, and LDR high dose rate

• Administer External Beam Radiation Therapy (EBRT) including linear accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, electrons, tomotherapy, and superficial/orthovoltage techniques

• Apply advanced radiation techniques including conventional/conformal therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), CyberKnife, Gamma Knife, IORT, TBI, TSE, and hyper altered fractionation

• Conduct treatment planning including conventional planning, beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI image fusion, electronic portal imaging, and clinical trials

• Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility

• Active ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
