Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist to support our client in SC. This 60-day assignment, beginning Aug 17, 2026, requires a Physician to work Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, including one administrative day onsite. The role primarily involves managing new consultations, conducting patient follow-ups, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Manage new consultations, discussing risks, benefits, and indications for radiation therapy.
• Conduct patient follow-ups and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform procedures including IGRT, 3D IMRT, Electrons, and SBRT.
• Oversee CT or MRI processes for accurate patient positioning and immobilization for targeted tumor access.
• Contour tumors and healthy organs using treatment software, reviewing plans with medical physicists.
• Conduct routine checks for patients undergoing daily treatment.
• Maintain a patient volume of approximately 15-20 daily.
• Work Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with one administrative day onsite.
