Locum Tenens Opportunity: Surgical Oncologist Near Kilkenny, MN Are you a Board-Certified Surgical Oncologist with a specialization in breast surgery? We are seeking an experienced physician for a locum tenens position in a full-service breast center near Kilkenny, MN. Position Overview: Profession : Physician Specialty : Surgical Oncology (Breast Surgery) Location : Near Kilkenny, MN Start Date : ASAP Contract Length : Ongoing Shift Type : Day Shift (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Schedule : Full-time, Monday to Friday Option to participate in the on-call rotation, though not mandatory Key Responsibilities: Patient Care : Manage a patient load of 15-20 patients per day. Provide surgical care in a specialized breast center, focusing on both oncologic and benign conditions. Perform procedures including lumpectomies, mastectomies, and other breast surgeries.

Support Staff : Collaborate with a dedicated team including LPNs, CMAs, RNs, Nurse Navigators, surgery schedulers, and advanced practice providers.

Facility : Work within a comprehensive breast center that includes onsite imaging, breast radiologists, surgical oncology, and medical oncology services.

Practice Details: EMR System : EPIC Patient Demographics : Primarily female, focused on breast health.

Hospital Bed Size : 400 beds Special Procedures Required : Expertise in breast surgery, including oncologic and benign procedures.

Certification & Licensure Requirements: Board Certification : Must be Board Certified in Breast Surgery Oncology.

State License : Willing to assist with obtaining a Minnesota license if necessary.

DEA : Required Experience : Must have substantial experience in breast surgery and surgical oncology.
