Our client in Kansas is seeking a Physician specializing in Medical Oncology for an impactful 60-day assignment starting Oct 5, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on comprehensive patient care including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and managing toxicities for various oncologic and hematologic conditions. Responsibilities and Duties Manage chemotherapy (IV/oral), including ordering and toxicity management Administer immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal therapy Participate in clinical trials Provide growth factor support (e.g., Neulasta, Epogen) Diagnose and treat a wide range of hematologic conditions such as Lymphoma (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin), Leukemias (ALL, AML, CLL, CML), Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPNs), Aplastic Anemia, Sickle Cell Anemia, and Coagulopathies (e.g., hemophilia, DVT/PE management) Manage benign hematology cases including anemia, thrombocytopenia, and leukopenia Treat various malignancies including Lung (NSCLC, SCLC), Colorectal, Prostate, Pancreatic, Gynecologic (ovarian, cervical, endometrial), Head & Neck, Melanoma, and other skin cancers Additional Information Board Certifications required in Hematology and Medical Oncology EMR System: Meditech EHR Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
