Physician - Oncology - Medical

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Oncology Physician for a 60-day assignment in Colorado, commencing Nov 1, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on diagnosing and treating diseases, communicating treatment options to patients, and ensuring accurate medical record documentation. The Physician will also provide leadership to the clinical team and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Diagnose diseases, injuries, and other conditions, and provide or prescribe appropriate treatment using history, physical exam, and diagnostics.
• Communicate treatment options to patients, address concerns, answer questions, and leverage expertise to prevent illness and injury, maintaining a patient-centered approach.
• Document accurately and completely in medical records for continuing care, compliance, quality, safety, and billing purposes.
• Provide appropriate leadership and feedback to the clinical team involved in patient care.
• Consult with colleagues and refer patients to other sources of care when clinically appropriate.
• Be available for office visits, phone calls, electronic communication, and on call coverage as outlined in policy.
• Participate in ongoing organizational efforts for continuous improvement in quality, safety, and patient experience.
• Engage in continuous learning and self-improvement.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of our client.
• Perform additional duties as defined in the physician employment agreement and as required by the specialty.
