Job Description
Seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology MD to provide inpatient and outpatient care in a regional program.
Responsibilities include: managing new diagnoses, survivorship, benign heme conditions, and oncology cases; performing procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, transfusions, and port management; participating in academic activities and multidisciplinary support.
Qualifications: MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology; comfortable with core procedures and inpatient consults; interested in teaching and academic involvement preferred.
Key duties: 0.9 clinical FTE with alternating inpatient and outpatient service blocks; participation in specialty call; utilization of Cerner EMR; collaboration with a dedicated team including NPs and support staff.
Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $300,000 salary with incentives; sign-on bonus; CME allowance; occurrence-based malpractice; relocation assistance; eligibility for loan forgiveness programs.
