Job Description
Our client in VA is seeking a Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for a 5-day assignment, beginning Aug 17, 2026. This role involves managing current treatment plans, with a primary focus on Hematology cases and minor medical oncology. The Physician will work Monday – Thursday from 8 am - 4:30 pm, including telephone-only call coverage every other week which can be handled remotely.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Manage current treatment plans, focusing primarily on Hematology cases and minor medical oncology.
• Provide care for adult patients.
• See approximately 13-15 patients per day during scheduled Monday – Thursday shifts.
• Cover telephone-only call every other week; this can be done remotely and does not require returning to the hospital after hours.
Additional Information
• Board Certification in Hematology is required.
