Job Description
Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Hematology/Oncology for a 7-day assignment starting Jul 4, 2026. This role involves managing both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, along with benign hematology conditions, while sharing inpatient consultation service and night/weekend call. The schedule offers flexibility for a 4 or 5-day work week, with shifts typically from 8a-5p or 7a-7a.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
• Address benign hematology conditions, including anemia and clotting disorders.
• Share inpatient consultation service and participate equally in night/weekend call.
• See new patient consults and conduct follow-ups.
• Treat various cancers such as breast, lung, colon, rectal, and prostate cancers.
• Handle hematologic malignancies including leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
• Work approximately 40% in hematology and 60% in oncology.
Additional Information
• Required: Board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
