# Physician - Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology - Loyola University ChicagoApply Now## Opportunity CriteriaSpecialtyHematology/Oncology : Gastrointestinal, Oncology : GastroenterologyCandidate TypeMD, DOVisa AcceptedNo J-1 or H-1BSalary Range$280,000.00 to $475,000.00 / YearLoan RepaymentNegotiableEmployment TypeFull TimeBonuses OfferedNegotiableNot-for-profit501(c)(3)## GI Medical Oncologist – Loyola University Medical CenterThe Division of Hematology and Oncology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center seeks a fellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join its Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology Program.**Position Highlights**The ideal candidate will have specialized training and a strong clinical interest in the treatment of adult gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies, along with a demonstrated commitment to clinical and/or translational research in these disease areas.**Responsibilities*** Provide inpatient and outpatient oncology care at Loyola University Medical Center.* Participate in weekly multidisciplinary GI oncology clinics alongside surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology colleagues.* Develop and conduct clinical and/or translational research focused on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance patient care, research initiatives, and program growth.* Teach and mentor hematology/oncology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.**Qualifications*** MD or DO degree.* Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.* Clinical expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies.* Demonstrated interest in clinical and/or translational research.
