Per Diem - Breast Cancer Care Focused

MaineHealth Cancer Care & IV Therapy is seeking a compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate/Assistant (PA) to work in our Medical Oncology/ Hematology practice providing flexible per diem coverage. This position will primarily support our breast oncology team, with opportunities to provide coverage across other solid tumor disease groups based on practice needs. This practice includes a comprehensive array of services to support the care of cancer patients in an office/clinic setting, chemotherapy infusion suite, research, pharmacy and laboratory.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; doctoral degree preferred
• Successful completion of accredited Physician Associate/Assistance or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program
• Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure
• Current BLS certification
• Experience as an APP is required

Compensation

• For internal candidates who currently hold a full-time or part-time role at MaineHealth, the pay rate is 120% of their current hourly rate and may be eligible for shift differentials. For external candidates or candidates who only hold per diem roles at MaineHealth, the rate is $80.00 per hour and may be eligible for shift differentials.
