We are seeking a full time Oncology Physician Assistant to join an established oncology team in Bethesda, MD.
The PA will provide patient care primarily in an outpatient oncology setting, with the opportunity to participate in hospital rounding. The ideal candidate will have prior oncology experience, with outpatient and hospitalist experience also preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to oncology patients in an outpatient setting
Evaluate patients & assist with ongoing treatment management
Participate in hospital rounding as needed
Monitor patient progress & clinical status
Develop & implement appropriate treatment plans
Coordinate care with physicians & multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
Provide patient education & support
Maintain accurate & timely clinical documentation
Follow established clinical protocols & standards of care

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Full time
No weekends
Clinic & potential hospital rounding responsibilities

Requirements
Valid Maryland Physician Assistant license
Prior oncology experience strongly preferred
Prior outpatient experience preferred
Hospitalist experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment & patient management skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians & healthcare professionals
