Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based at Pacific Physical Therapy in Port Orchard, WA. The Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions, developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing thorough assessments, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, educating patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs, and documenting care in a timely, accurate manner. The role also involves coordinating with referring providers and other healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting interventions to achieve optimal outcomes. The Physical Therapist will contribute to a patient-centered environment that emphasizes clear communication, safety, and respect for each individual’s goals and abilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to provide evidence-based treatment across diverse musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong skills in Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education, developing home exercise programs, and promoting whole body wellness.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to orthopedic and neurological conditions, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Current valid Physical Therapist license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of Washington.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, sports rehabilitation, or post-surgical care is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with evidence-based practice.
