Job Description
Schedule: Monday – Friday 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
Work Model: 50% On-Site Clinic / 50% Remote Telehealth (VA Video Connect / VVC)
Setting: Ambulatory Care / Outpatient Chronic Pain Management
Experience Required: 2+ years of hospital, ambulatory care, or specialized chronic pain management experience
Certifications: Active State Physical Therapist (PT) License & AHA BLS

- Biopsychosocial Focus: Move beyond traditional acute biomechanical models into progressive Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE) and graded exposure therapy.
Clinical Scope & Therapeutic Modalities
- Pain Neuroscience & Behavioral PT: Execute Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE), graded exposure therapy, and functional activity retraining for complex chronic pain populations.
- Telehealth Delivery: Lead virtual individual consultations and interactive group interventions via VA Video Connect (VVC) platforms.
- Specialized Rehabilitation: Provide multi-faceted treatments including neuromuscular re-education, gait analysis/training, pelvic health, aquatic therapy, and wheelchair seating/positioning evaluations.
- Physical & Adaptive Modalities: Administer electrical modalities, thermotherapy/cryotherapy, adaptive equipment prescription, and wound/lymphedema management protocols.
