Pharmacy Manager, Hematology/Oncology

Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)
Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Licensed Pharmacist (or eligible for licensure) in Massachusetts.
• One of the following:
• PGY-1 Residency + PGY-2 Specialty/HSPAL Residency, OR
• PGY-1 Residency + 2 years relevant experience, OR
• 4 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Strong leadership, operational, and pharmacy management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Hematology/Oncology pharmacy experience.
• Leadership or management experience.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, etc.).
• Experience working in an academic medical center or complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead daily Hematology/Oncology pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital pharmacy regulations.
• Manage medication procurement, preparation, storage, and distribution processes.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy liaisons, and support staff.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and staff development.
• Manage departmental budgets, drug utilization, and cost-containment initiatives.
• Collaborate with oncology and hematology clinical teams to optimize patient care.
• Lead quality improvement, medication safety, and process enhancement projects.
• Support pharmacy residency programs, staff education, and professional development.
• Participate in strategic planning and departmental goal setting.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Education:
• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
• PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency + relevant pharmacy: 2 years (Required)
• Hematology/Oncology pharmacist: 3 years (Required)
• Clinical Pharmacist : 4 years (Required)
• leadership, operational, and pharmacy management: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts. (Required)
