Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead Hematology/Oncology pharmacy operations at a leading healthcare organization in Boston, Massachusetts. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing clinical and operational pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, supporting multidisciplinary patient care, and driving quality and safety initiatives within the Hematology/Oncology service line.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations within the Hematology/Oncology department.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to pharmacy staff.

• Ensure safe, effective, and compliant medication management practices.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

• Support quality improvement initiatives, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

• Assist with staff development, performance management, and departmental planning.

• Monitor and implement best practices in oncology pharmacy services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

• Licensed Pharmacist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts by the date of hire.

• One of the following:

• PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY-2 Pharmacy Specialty Residency or HSPAL Residency; OR

• PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and 2 years of relevant experience; OR

• 4 years of relevant pharmacy experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hematology/Oncology pharmacy experience.

• Advanced degree such as Master's or MBA.

• Completion of an accredited residency program.

• Prior leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
