Perm - Physician - Radiation Oncology Findlay, OH

Job Overview:
• Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a PRN Radiation Oncologist to support its established Comprehensive Cancer Care program in Findlay, Northwest Ohio, part of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, offering a flexible outpatient schedule, strong clinical support, and advanced radiation technology in a physician-led environment.
• Job Description:

Schedule & Call:
• Work a flexible PRN schedule (Guaranteed up to 2 days/week (based on physician preference) + covering 6 weeks of physician vacation/year)
• - Schedule to be discussed during interview, as schedule will be dependent on provider's weekly availability (no set weekly schedule)
• Provide minimal office-based call coverage
• Practice:
• $3,200 per day ($400/hour)
• Flexible PRN schedule

• Work with advanced radiation technology
• Established program with consistent coverage

Clinical Responsibilities:
• Provide radiation oncology services in a 100% outpatient setting
• See approximately 20–30 patients per day
• - 6-week coverage will be scattered throughout the year based on clinical needs and physician vacations
• Deliver care using Varian TrueBeam and advanced imaging technology
• Practice in a single-site location with an established team
• Collaborate with therapy, physics, and dosimetry support staff
• Work in a physician-led, autonomy-focused culture
• Support an established program with consistent coverage needs
• EMR Systems: ARIA & Eclipse (radiation oncology); Cerner (cancer center & hospital)
• Equipment:
• 2 TrueBeam linear accelerators with HyperArc (beam-matched)
• Siemens CT Simulator (installed 2024)
• Sun Nuclear & Radformation suite for dosimetry & physics
• Team: single-site, well-supported (therapy, physics, dosimetry)
