Role Overview
Seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, effective administration of specialty medications, including IV infusions, in patients' homes. The nurse collaborates with care teams, documents treatments, and acts as the primary contact for patient updates and care coordination.
Autonomous clinical decision-making is essential to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
• Active RN license in the practicing state
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in critical care, acute care, or home healthcare
• Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within a broad geographic area
• Capability to conduct multiple patient visits weekly, including some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy
Key Duties
• Administer specialty medications safely in patients' homes
• Partner with pharmacists and care teams to support patient well-being
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and treatments
• Coordinate patient care and serve as primary contact
