Job Description
Home Infusion Registered Nurse – Accredo Specialty Pharmacy
Role Overview
Provide in-home infusion care, administer IV medications safely, and collaborate with care teams to ensure holistic patient well-being. Serve as the primary contact for patient updates, document assessments and treatments, and exercise clinical autonomy to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities Include
• Administering IV infusion medications in patients' homes.
• Partnering with pharmacists and care teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintaining accurate records of assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Serving as the main point of contact for patient communication and care coordination.
• Making clinical decisions independently to drive positive health outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
• Active RN license within the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in critical, acute, or home healthcare.
• Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic region.
• Capability to conduct multiple patient visits weekly, including some evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Experience with specialty pharmacy or infusion therapy programs.
