Overview
The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting a Pediatric Psychologist dedicated to oncology/hematology to join our Psychology Division. The psychologist will join a team of pediatric psychologists providing evaluation and intervention services to children in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Texas Children’s Hospital Houston Medical Center Campus. Consultation with multidisciplinary medical providers and learners will be expected. Opportunities for training, innovation, program development, and clinical research are built into this position.
Responsibilities
Provide assessment and therapeutic interventions for pediatric oncology/hematology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical team and learners. Participate in training, innovation, program development, and clinical research. Conduct teaching and supervision of psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows as part of the APA‑approved internship program.
Qualifications
Doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with specialization in child clinical psychology. Completed APA‑accredited psychology internship and postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology. Licensure or license‑eligibility in Texas.
