Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

• Current SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in New York

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates actively pursuing certification

• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings

• Solid understanding of IEP development and school-based documentation

• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for diverse student backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with communication and language disorders

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families

• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed

• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support holistic student care

• Educate staff and families regarding communication disorders, therapy goals, and general strategies for success in the classroom

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines
