Pediatric Pathologist

USA Health is seeking a full-time, team-oriented faculty member with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, specializing in Pediatric Pathology. This role involves contributing to the Department of Pathology at the Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama, focusing on Pediatric and Perinatal Pathology. Practice Info

• The Division of Anatomic Pathology handles about 20,000 surgical and 3,500 cytology cases per year.

• The Division of Anatomic Pathology serves USA Health University Hospital, USA Health Children's and Women's Hospital, and the USA Health Mitchell Cancer Institute.

• The two hospitals are licensed for 630 beds combined.

• Molecular, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and electron microscopy laboratories are available.

• The Department has a combined residency training program in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with 12 residents.
