This position is located at Dell Children’s Medical Center, the only pediatric hospice program centered within a children's hospital in Texas.

How You'll Make an Impact in This Role:
• Deliver comprehensive palliative and hospice care across various settings to ensure comfort and quality of life for patients and families.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplains, and child life specialists.
• Teach and mentor medical students and pediatric residents through our partnership with Dell Medical School.
• Lead innovative programs, including perinatal palliative care initiatives.
• Participate in on-call coverage, which is 1 in 3 at-home call.

• Dell Children's Medical Center has received national recognition for its exceptional pediatric care.
• We are the clinical partner site for Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin.
• Dell Children's is the only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in the region, serving 46 counties.

What Minimum Qualifications You'll Need:
• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Additional Preferences:
• BE/BC Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine.
