Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care for children facing chronic, complex and/or life-threatening conditions and their families in the clinic, hospital, long-term care facility, or home

• Provide palliative care for mothers whose babe has been diagnosed with chronic, complex and/or life-threatening condition in utero and their families in the hospital or clinic

• Participate in comprehensive medical and psychosocial evaluation of patients and families, skilled and meticulous symptom management, and discharge planning and continuity of care

• Serve as clinical and educational role model and mentor

• Provide care and support in collaboration with the primary care team

• Ensure compliance with practice standards and codes

Requirements

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Primary care and/or Acute Care) or Family Nurse Practitioner

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
