Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Faculty Position
Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $179,000.00 - $298,200.00

Join a vibrant academic Pediatric Hematology/Oncology program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) and OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois. We are looking for a dedicated Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist with a strong focus on Leukemia and Lymphoma to enhance our collaborative team of clinicians, educators, and researchers committed to improving pediatric cancer and blood disorder care across Central Illinois.

This role provides an ideal balance of clinical, academic, and research experiences supported by a strong network of specialists. It offers meaningful teaching responsibilities and the chance to carve out a specialized niche within an encouraging environment.

Clinical Practice:

Our Division provides comprehensive Pediatric Hematology/Oncology care, addressing both malignant and benign hematologic disorders, solid tumors, leukemia, lymphoma, and sickle cell disease.

Highlights include:
• Combination of outpatient, inpatient, consultative, and procedural responsibilities
• Management of approximately 8-9 patients per clinic day
• Designated procedure slots for bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures, consultations, and other related procedures
• Opportunity to maintain a broad practice while pursuing personal areas of interest
