Join the nationally recognized team at Dell Children's Medical Center as a Program Director. You will lead a multidisciplinary team in advancing clinical excellence and research.
• Champion clinical excellence by providing the highest standard of care for approximately 250 pediatric sickle cell patients.
• Drive growth and innovation through the development of evidence-based protocols to improve patient outcomes.
• Cultivate partnerships with academic, community, and advocacy stakeholders to grow program reach and enhance support.
• Provide clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary SCD program, recognized as a NASCC site.
About the Practice
• Collaborative team of 13 experienced Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physicians.
• Integrated care team including advanced practice providers, social workers, and psychology professionals.
• Outpatient, weekday clinic structure.
• Collaboration on initiatives in pain management, pulmonary hypertension, quality improvement, and more.
• Affiliated with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, actively participating in physician education.
• Located within Dell Children's, the only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in the region, serving 46 counties in central Texas.

What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) licensed by the Texas Medical Board prior to the hire date is required.
Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree is required.
