Your Impact in This Role
In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead pediatric hematology initiatives in Austin, Texas. You will:
• Provide specialized clinical care for children and adolescents with complex hematologic conditions, ensuring family-centered treatment.
• Help develop institutional protocols and quality improvement initiatives in pediatric thrombosis management to enhance care standards.
• Collaborate with cardiology, surgery, and critical care teams to optimize anticoagulation stewardship.
• Mentor medical trainees and students at Dell Medical School, fostering continuous learning and academic excellence.
• Drive clinical innovation through research initiatives to advance benign hematology and improve patient outcomes.
• Work closely with a team of 13 expert, board-certified Pediatric Hematology-Oncology physicians.

Qualifications Required
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• MD/DO credential from the Texas Medical Board required prior to hire.
Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience or interest in thrombosis, hemostasis, or vascular medicine.
• Dedication to multidisciplinary care and continuous improvement.
