Job Description
Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist to join their busy inpatient and outpatient practice. This role offers an opportunity to provide excellent clinical care and contribute to academic initiatives, including a Children’s Oncology Group (COG) affiliation and a federally funded hemophilia treatment center. The ideal candidate will be a clinically focused, collaborative professional passionate about improving outcomes for children, adolescents, and young adults with hematologic and oncologic disorders.
Practice Info
• Busy inpatient and outpatient practice
• Full Children’s Oncology Group (COG) affiliation
• Federally funded comprehensive hemophilia treatment center (Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Coagulation Disorders Program)
• Haworth Innovative Therapeutics Clinic offering research opportunities through clinical trials and consortium affiliations
• Robust Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program
• Hosts specialty clinics including sickle cell, neuro-oncology, and cancer survivorship
Compensation
• Loan Repayment: Negotiable

• Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40
• Hours of Work: 8-5
• Days Worked: Monday-Friday primary. Occasional weekends and holidays
• Weekend Frequency: Variable weekends
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
• Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO)
• Current Medical license for the state of Michigan
• Current Federal Narcotics Licenses
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
