Job Description
Arkansas Children’s, in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), is seeking a pediatric hematologist oncologist specializing in bone marrow transplant (BMT) and cellular therapy (CT). The successful candidate will join the state’s only pediatric health system and play a key role in shaping the future of children’s health in our region.
Full-time position, with a minimum of 20% protected research/academic time devoted to research efforts and scholarly pursuits, with the possibility of up to 80% protected research/academic time for those with funding/support
FACT accredited program for autologous and allogeneic transplant, bone marrow harvest and apheresis
UAMS pediatric hematology oncology fellowship training program
Actively engaged in national research initiatives through COG, PTCTC, Pediatric Real World CAR Consortium, POETIC, NACHO, Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium and industry-supported clinical trials
Ideal candidates will have strong clinical skills and experience in treating patients with malignant diseases, including the use of autologous and allogeneic BMT as well as CAR-T therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Applicants must have the ability and desire to collaborate as a member of a growing team and align with the needs of the program. A demonstrated interest in clinical and/or translational research is preferred
