Position Description: Patient Care Leader - RN
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Neuro PCU team at St. Joseph’s Hospital as a Patient Care Leader. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
The Patient Care Leader Responsibilities Include
• Leading the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.
• RN is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.
• Providing 24/7 accountability care for assigned patients.
• Promoting evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Qualifications
Certifications and Licensures:
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
• RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
• ACLS Certification, if required by department
• Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education
• Bachelors degree in Nursing is required
Experience
• 2 years of RN experience in acute care is required.

• Critical thinking skills
• Clinical skills appropriate to position
