Shift Detail: 7a-7:30pm, every other weekend, every other holiday

Our facilities include Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, and Rockville General, a 102-bed facility, alongside a robust multispecialty provider group and visiting nurse services.
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will assist patients with basic human needs and daily living activities, providing essential care under the guidance of RNs or LPNs. You will also engage in additional Nurse Assistant II competencies after receiving education, further enhancing patient care. Your responsibilities will include clerical support tasks, maintaining medical records, transcribing physician orders, and acting as a receptionist. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff. The Clerical Nurse Assistant II will alternate between clerical and clinical duties as needed to support our healthcare team, reporting directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications
• EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
High School graduate or equivalent; completion of a certified nursing assistant program is preferred. Nursing students who have completed a semester of clinicals are also welcome to apply. Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support certification at hire or during the new employee orientation, maintaining clinical competency throughout employment.
• EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of medical terminology and excellent customer service skills are required.
