Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Central Church in Ewing, NJ as they search for their Pastor of Impact and Engagement. Central is a multicultural and multigenerational congregation of over 500 followers in the suburban community of Ewing, New Jersey. Ewing is situated between the communities of Trenton, Hopewell and Lawrence Townships in New Jersey and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They are excited to welcome their new associate pastor as they enter this new season of ministry together.



The ideal Pastor of Impact and Engagement candidate will be:

- Experienced and have the ability to recruit, train, delegate, and support ministry leaders

- One who is passionate about Next Gen ministry






POSITION OVERVIEW

The Pastor of Impact and Engagement position requires someone to be a personable servant leader who has a character that reflects the love of Jesus Christ with empathy, compassion, and love. They must be committed to modeling and communicating the Mission and Vision of Central effectively and with authenticity and enthusiasm. They will need to demonstrate a highly collaborative relationship with the Lead Pastor and Overseeing Elders. This position will be accountable to the Lead Pastor. and Overseeing Elders Council.





SPECIALIZED PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OVERSIGHT:


- Local and Global Mission Oversight
- Community Engagement
- First Impressions
- Oversight of Central Kids and Student Ministries and staff
- Develop and implement programs for Young Adult and College Ministries
- Online and Social Media Oversight






SHARED SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES WITH THE LEAD PASTOR:


- Sharing in the Preaching/Teaching
- Staff Development
- Discipleship
- Pastoral Care and counseling
- Integration of people into the mission, vision, and ministries
- Stewardship
- Strategic planning and execution
