Job Title: Part-Time Patient Navigator / Cancer Program Manager
Location: Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY (In-Person Required)
Hourly Rate: Part-Time | $22–$35/hour commensurate with experience) | Start ASAP
About the Role: A Brooklyn-based nonprofit organization seeking an experienced seasoned professional . The ideal candidate will bring extensive nonprofit experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Blackbaud Raisers Edge, Google Suite, Asana, Microsoft Office.

Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer® (T.E.A.L.®) is a Brooklyn-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting women impacted by ovarian cancer through education, outreach, and survivor programs. We are a small, collaborative team committed to making a meaningful impact in our community.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate nonprofit professional to manage and grow our national patient/survivor programs. This is a hands-on, in-person role ideal for someone highly organized, systems-minded, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
• Approximately 3–14 days per month
• Flexible schedule (set in advance monthly)
• Occasional evenings and weekends required
• Ideal for work-life balance
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day operations of patient/survivor programs
• Oversee grants, budgets, reporting, and program tracking
• Provide phone and email support to patients and community members
• Coordinate intake, onboarding, and ongoing participant engagement
• Maintain and manage database (Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud)
• Develop and distribute patient packages and resources
• Conduct outreach and build partnerships across NYC and nationwide
• Assist with grant writing, fundraising, and securing new revenue and collaborations
• Support planning and execution of workshops, events, and fundraisers
• Track program impact and prepare reports
• Assist with general operations and special projects as needed
Qualifications
• 6+ years of nonprofit or public health experience (required)
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
• Experience with Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud
• Proficiency in Asana and Google Workspace
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Empathy and ability to work directly with cancer patients and families
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
