MedStar Palliative Care is seeking a qualified Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our regional service line - MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Be a part of a nationally recognized health system and the largest provider of healthcare services in the Washington, DC/Baltimore region. Minimal Qualifications
Education
Master's degree Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Maryland State and/or DC Board Examiners of Nurses. required
Experience
1-2 years' experience as a nurse practitioner. May require additional experience in specialty assigned. required
Licenses and Certifications
NP - Nurse Practitioner - Licensed in the District of Columbia Maryland or Virginia or any combination as required based on work location(s). May require specialty license based on location. required and
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required and
Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
Verbal and written communication skills. Must have good problem-solving and independent judgment skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of
USD $115,003.00 - USD $189,999.00 /Yr.
