Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are currently seeking overnight Histotechnologists
or Histotechnicians to join our Histology team!

Role Overview:


-
Section paraffin and frozen tissue specimens as requested.


-
Basic histology techniques (e.g. embed, microtomy, process tissue).


-
Analyze and troubleshoot equipment-related issues


-
Maintains vital quality control and assurance records



Key Qualifications:


-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field with knowledge of Biology, Chemistry


-
NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Technician, or Certified Histology Technician license preferred. Eligibility to obtain NYS license required

Ability to perform dilutions and laboratory calculations

Strong digital literacy including working with databases

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, or Sunday – Thursday, Overnight hours, 100% onsite

Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY.

10% differential for overnight schedule
