Outpatient Oncology Infusion Nurse

BJC HealthCare seeks an Outpatient Oncology Infusion Clinical Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based cancer care in a busy infusion center. In this role, you will assess patients, administer chemotherapy and biologic infusions, manage IV access, and closely monitor for reactions or complications. Responsibilities

Provide outpatient oncology infusion therapy following provider orders and evidence-based protocols
Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after chemotherapy and biologic infusions
Administer medications, manage IV access, and respond to infusion-related reactions
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
Document care accurately in the electronic health record and maintain regulatory compliance
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Promote safety, infection prevention, and quality standards in the infusion center
Participate in continuous learning, oncology competencies, and quality improvement initiatives
