Role Overview
This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized ICU unit focused on oncology and bone marrow transplant patients. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care within established standards.
Key Duties
• Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs.
• Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree and RN licensure; preferred Bachelor's degree with less than 2 years of experience. Strong critical nursing skills, safety awareness, and commitment to professional growth are essential.
