Job Title: Oncology Sales Manager
A leading diagnostics company is expanding its national oncology sales team and seeking an experiencedOncology Sales Manager to support growth across key outpatient markets. This field-based role is responsible for managing and growing relationships within community oncology practices, outpatient cancer centers, and academic oncology sites.
This opportunity is ideal for a strategic, clinically knowledgeable sales professional with experience in diagnostic or laboratory sales, particularly within oncology, hematology, or pathology services. Candidates must be comfortable engaging physicians, lab managers, and cross-functional care teams to deliver value-based diagnostic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow a defined territory of outpatient oncology accounts
• Identify gaps in service or utilization and upsell advanced oncology diagnostics
• Conduct full-office sales calls with medical oncologists, nurses, lab managers, and administrative staff
• Partner with internal stakeholders across precision oncology, hospital accounts, and medical affairs
• Design and implement clinical workflows customized for oncology practices
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and market opportunity assessments
• Represent the company at regional conferences and oncology events
• Leverage tools including EMRs, digital platforms, and connectivity products to support adoption
• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert on hematology, solid tumor, and specialty diagnostics
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in diagnostics, lab services, or healthcare B2B
• Experience managing large, multi-million-dollar accounts in complex healthcare environments
• Background in oncology, hematology, or pathology testing strongly preferred
• Proven success with new business development and expanding existing client relationships
• Experience launching new products or services in competitive markets
• Excellent communication, territory planning, and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree required
Compensation:
