Job Description
The RN Clinical Nurse plays a vital role within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities Include
• Performing the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Providing relationship-based care tailored to patients' cultural and demographic needs, involving patients and families in care planning.
• Ensuring timely and accurate documentation, promoting interdisciplinary communication, and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.
• Participating in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to enhance patient outcomes and team collaboration.
• Serving as a mentor or preceptor to support professional development and sustain a qualified workforce.
• Upholding nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, including safety protocols.
• Engaging in ongoing competency assessments, population-specific education, and evidence-based practice to continually improve care quality.
Qualifications And Skills
• Active nursing license and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
