Job Description
Are you passionate about both oncology nursing as well as giving advice on improving the software that you'll use each day as the oncology RN?
Join the team at Stuart Oncology.
We're building an in-house care management program for patients on oral cancer therapy, run on our own software. The nursing work already happens here every day. Nobody logs it, nobody bills it, and the software isn't finished. You'll run the program so every service is real, documented, and submitted, and you'll tell the product team daily what's broken or slow.
What you'll do
• Manage a panel of 150 to 200 patients on oral oncolytics (TKIs, CDK4/6 inhibitors, capecitabine, BTK inhibitors, IMiDs).
• Work the daily symptom check-in alert queue under signed standing orders and escalate dose decisions to the APP or physician.
• Complete a live call with every enrolled patient each month.
• Build and update disease-specific care plans, manage supportive meds, coordinate with oncologists, pharmacy, primary care, and home health.
• Log every minute as it happens and review the month-end claim worksheet before anything is billed.
• Send the product team a short written note every day: bugs, friction, missing fields, ideas.
What you need
• Active Florida RN license (or compact with FL privileges).
• 2+ years oncology nursing: infusion, oral oncolytics, or navigation.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate; OCN preferred.
• Telephone triage experience and good judgment on when to escalate.
• Comfortable with software and willing to document everything you do.
• Care management billing experience (PCM, CCM, RTM) and Spanish are a plus.
