Oncology RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Oncology RN to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult oncology patients in acute and outpatient settings. In this role, you will administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, manage symptoms and side effects, perform central line care, and closely monitor patient responses. You will educate patients and families, collaborate with a multidisciplinary oncology team, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards. Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients across the treatment continuum.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive medications per provider orders and protocols.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, treatment responses, and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and self-care.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Perform central line care, infusions, transfusions, and symptom management interventions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and chemotherapy handling guidelines.
• Advocate for patients' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Utilize electronic medical records for accurate documentation and communication.
• Participate in quality improvement, professional development, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
