Oncology RN

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Oncology RN to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to oncology patients in acute and outpatient settings. In this role, you will safely administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, perform detailed assessments, manage complex symptoms, and respond to oncologic emergencies. You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, and maintain meticulous EMR documentation. Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive oncology nursing care to adult patients across the chemotherapy and infusion continuum.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products safely following oncology protocols and ONS standards.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment response, and manage oncologic emergencies and treatment-related side effects.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, symptom management, and supportive care resources.
• Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Advocate for patients, supporting shared decision-making and psychosocial needs throughout the cancer care journey.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow evidence-based oncology nursing practices.
