Oncology RN

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a compassionate Oncology RN to deliver high-quality cancer care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will assess oncology patients, administer chemotherapy and biotherapy, manage central lines, and provide critical symptom management and education to patients and families. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment. Responsibilities
• Provide direct oncology nursing care, including assessment, chemotherapy administration, and symptom management
• Administer and monitor IV chemotherapy, biotherapy, and blood products per protocol and safety standards
• Perform patient education on disease process, treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies
• Coordinate care with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and manage central lines, infusion devices, and infection prevention measures
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Respond to oncologic emergencies and escalate changes in patient status promptly
• Support patients and families emotionally, promoting a compassionate care environment
• Adhere to evidence-based oncology practice guidelines and infection control policies
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives with Fusion Medical Staffing
