POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Oncology Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process. You will coordinate the care process through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. Timely communication regarding patient conditions and responsiveness to treatment changes are essential. Additionally, you'll apply your understanding of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care for diverse patients. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager, promoting nursing professionalism through supportive interactions.
Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program and current Connecticut licensure.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire, or within the new employee orientation period, while maintaining clinical competency throughout your employment.
• Graduate Nurses must pass the NCLEX within 90 days of graduation.
COMPETENCIES:
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency.
