Job Description
Provide specialized nursing care to outpatient oncology, bone marrow transplant, and hematology patients. Administer medications, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products while ensuring safe, effective treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patient condition and identify care needs
Coordinate and implement individualized care plans
Document clinical care and patient progress accurately
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care
Administer and monitor medications and infusion therapies, including blood products
Qualifications And Skills
Registered nursing licensure and strong clinical nursing judgment
Experience or expertise in oncology/hematology and complex medication administration
Ability to assess, prioritize, and manage patient care independently
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Detail-oriented documentation and care coordination
