Key Responsibilities
• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments with the highest level of safety and accuracy.
• Operate linear accelerators and imaging systems, performing daily quality assurance checks and basic maintenance.
• Thoroughly review and verify treatment plans, setups, and parameters before every session to ensure optimal patient care.
• Skillfully position and immobilize patients to achieve precise dose delivery and treatment reproducibility.
• Monitor patients throughout treatments for side effects, ready to escalate concerns as necessary.
• Meticulously document treatments, patient responses, and any variances in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.
