Clinical Physician Radiation Oncology
UT Southwestern Medical Center Fort Worth Campus, TX
UT Southwestern is expanding its nationally recognized Radiation Oncology program to Fort Worth with a new 65,000-square-foot facility opening in January 2028. Our new campus will be connected to UT Southwestern s Moncrief Cancer Institute and will expand our comprehensive cancer care presence in the region.
UT Southwestern is the No. 1 hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth for the 10 th consecutive year and ranks among the top hospitals for care in eight national specialties for the most in Texas, according to U.S. News & World Report. In addition, seven specialties are ranked in the top 25 in the nation, including cancer, heart, diabetes, and neurology and neurosurgery.
Job Summary
UT Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Radiation Oncology, is seeking full-time physicians to grow the new practice at the Moncrief Cancer Institute campus in Fort Worth, Texas.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, a patient-centered approach, and enthusiasm for contributing to an academic medical center committed to innovation, education, and outstanding outcomes.
Position Highlights
• Four linacs, including CBCT- and MRI-adaptive capabilities, with space for two additional treatment machines
• Fort Worth s first MRI-guided radiation therapy
• CT, MRI, and PET/CT simulation
• High-dose-rate (HDR) brachytherapy for prostate and gynecological cancers
• Full integration with UT Southwestern's Dallas campus disease teams
• Full portfolio of clinical trials available on site
Qualifications
• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency
• Board eligible OR board certified in radiation oncology
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration
