Oncology & Perioperative Care Speech and Language Therapist for Insurance

Ellgate Warkhurst Logistics is hiring a Oncology & Perioperative Care Speech and Language Therapist for Insurance in West Garden Grove, California. This is a internship position.
What you will do
• Prioritise a caseload when demand exceeds the time available.
• Maintain accurate stock levels of clinical consumables on the unit.
• Apply evidence-based guidelines and note when a patient's case departs from them.
• Work with pharmacy to reconcile medication on admission and discharge.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate deterioration according to local protocol.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate each patient's pathway.
• Obtain informed consent and document it correctly.
